A Democrat in the Committee on Rules this morning stated that: Republicans would cut off your limbs and let you bleed to death, in the context relating to a patient asking for help with a cold. It was an absolutely disgusting remark that has no place in this debate. Is this what Leader Jeffries wants to come to the floor to state, that we are cutting the limbs off of people to watch them bleed out? Does Leader Jeffries want to stoke fear in this way and terrorize Americans?…”
