I am really glad to hear that AB5 is not going to go nationwide, and the reason is that it is--it was clearly disastrous for the State of California.

It is $32.5 trillion. Do you know how much that is per citizen? It is nearly a $100,000 per citizen.
So, in short, you believe, if you trust them in their commitment to safety, then why--I would just hypothetically ask--why would we need to implement another rule on them to take away some of those decisions?
I am filing a bill today called the Workers Choice Act, and to address this issue because I mean I think that an individual... does not have that authority to do that, but this bill will give that worker back the authority.
Do you not think that there could be something that you could do in the perimeter of the law that you have purview over, to reduce the number of children that you lose track of?
