I've watched the Defense Contracting Audit Agency basically get taken to task by their peers for failure to even follow basic auditing standards.
We have a bunch of idiots on Wall Street that are kicking sand in the face of the American taxpayer. They don't get it. These people are idiots. You can't use taxpayer money to pay out $18 billion in bonuses.
I'm worried we're going to have 30,000 troops in Iraq and 100,000 contractors.
Clearly there is some 'robbing Peter to pay Paul' that goes on with the earmarking process.
We have gone a long way in Congress to try to begin to stop the revolving door.
We may take a more extensive look at this down the line in another location, but I would be very interested in knowing how this came about.
Also, to the extent that you can today or for the record reassure us that you are being more aggressive perhaps than State has been in terms of the oversight of security personnel at your base camps.
