Mr. President, the next one that is being held of these 107 nominations is Benjamin Tucker, to be Deputy Director for State, Local, and Tribal Affairs in the Office of National Drug Control Policy. As a former prosecutor--and I know you do, Mr. President, as a former attorney general--I understand the importance of having people in place to work on our national drug policy and to reduce the illegal drugs in this country. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to executive session for the purpose of consideration of Calendar No. 556, Benjamin Tucker; that the nomination be confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table, no further motions be in order, the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action, and that any statements relating to the nominee be printed in the Record.
