In reference to our Full Committee hearing entitled, 'Focusing on People: A Review of VA's Plans for Employee Training, Accountability, and Workload Management to Improve Disability Claims Processing' that took place on March 20, 2013, I would appreciate it if you could answer the enclosed hearing questions by the close of business on April 30, 2013.

I am hopeful that these changes can expand to VA and Congress working together to address IT security issues.
I would encourage the secretary to quickly define detailed execution plans for these concepts and not get stuck in analysis and processes.
IT security is critical and we simply must do all that we can working together to ensure that veterans' personal information is protected.
If there are real and reasonable roadblocks to implementation, we need to know what they are and how to fix them.
