Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent to bring up H.R. 1217, the bipartisan expanded background checks legislation, to honor the memory of Officer Steven Todd Dooley, a victim of gun violence who never received a moment of action on this House floor. And, Mr. Speaker, I would like to know: What are you afraid of? Why won't you give Officer Dooley his time? What are you afraid of, Mr. Speaker? Bring the bill to the floor. The SPEAKER pro tempore. As previously announced, the unanimous consent request cannot be entertained. The time of the gentleman will be subtracted from the gentleman from Colorado's time.
