Bill Keating is an American politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts's 9th congressional district, a position he has held since January 3, 2013. By essentially ignoring the Kemp-Kasten bill, what sort of message are we sending?
U.S. taxpayers should not be forced to fund the program that violates provisions in the Kemp-Kasten Amendment.

If we agree on one thing, let it be this: That child marriages only contribute to the devastating cycle of poverty, keeping young girls and women from receiving the proper education, and harming them both physically and mentally.
What are we doing to make sure this is being rooted out and we discover this and then through training or maybe other actions, withholding money and other actions, we could deal with that?
As a member of both the House Committees on Foreign Affairs and Homeland Security, I appreciate the opportunity to jointly examine this very important topic.
