I don't favor open borders and I don't know anybody here that does either.
I am a life-long Republican. I have been a Republican longer than some of you have been alive.
I don't think you can be the referee of your own game.
Your job is to revisit the Act, and I am hopeful and expect that you will do it.
That is ridiculous that you, the head of the agency, don't know of this issue of waste, fraud, and abuse that is rampant...
I have heard that we are using children, toddlers, and infants.
We see an increased use of children by human and drug traffickers because of our policies.
That is permanent separation, and that is in part due to policies that fail to control our border.
These are not anomalies. This is what is going on, on a regular basis.
It is just not a feasible timetable.
