U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson (R-TX), Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means Subcommittee on Social Security, today announced a hearing on how disability is decided.
Americans with disabilities deserve to get the right decision as early as possible, but that's just not how it currently works.
This year, Social Security received an increase in its budget despite a 1.5 percent decrease in an overall discretionary cap.
The fact is our nation faces a sea of red ink that will break the back of our great nation unless we act now to get our fiscal house in order.
I am appalled by the government control of everything, and I think we need to get the government out of it.
