As I have said at previous hearings of this subcommittee, we all agree that discriminatory treatment in voting based on race or sex is abhorrent.
the bill we will be discussing today, H.R. 4, would prevent States from enforcing their neutral voting rights laws.
And the amendment to that language would be a pretty simple statute, wouldn't it? It would just be a couple of lines, right?
