I hope we can address some of these concerns here today, because I am sure many Members of Congress share them with me.
The intent of the 2012 STOCK Act is good. It was meant to create a public disclosure system for Members of Congress to report their trades in a timely manner.
I don't think it is all due to rising beef costs. I am certain it has a lot more to do with this Administration's reckless spending and policies.
But in the end, we want to do the right thing. We all try to do that right thing.
