I am fond of saying I drank the nanotech Kool-Aid the first time I visited Chad Mirkin's lab at Northwestern University.
I wanted to ask Administrator Quarterman. Can you tell me where PHMSA is right now on this requirement that was put in in MAP-21?
I am very happy that we are becoming more self-sufficient on energy needs; and, hopefully, we are all here because we are concerned about the rail safety.
We certainly need to do more to help, especially, commuter rail to implement PTC, but we don't have much time.
Oversight isn't--oftentimes does not get the headlines, but it is important. If we are going to pass legislation, we got to do the oversight.
