“Mr. Chairman, I rise in support of the fiscal year 2017 budget resolution. The need for this process can best be explained by a story I have been telling my colleagues. Now is the time for a 21st century healthcare system that puts patients and doctors first and sends government regulators and rulemakers to the back row. No more 32 percent increase in Georgia premiums; no more having your doctor pulled away from you; and no more government mandates.
