Ron Dion DeSantis is an American politician and attorney serving as the 46th governor of Florida since January 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously represented Florida's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2018. DeSantis has focused on various issues during his governorship, including education reform, environmental policies, and public health initiatives, particularly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I heard some stuff, some weird stuff from the secretary of transportation, trying to make this about social issues. And, to me, a road is a road.
We are going to create a separate office at the state level solely dedicated to investigating and prosecuting election crimes in the state of Florida.
Here it is. This is 500 pages of government of bureaucracy, a government that is being run by executive edict. Florida is going to respond and we will combat the OSHA rule.
Well, I think people are rebelling against what the Democratic Party stands for nowadays.
They’re a heck of a lot of students and a heck of a lot of families throughout the state of Florida that are better off today.
These school districts are saying no, you have to wear a mask even if your parent doesn’t want that. If these entities are going to violate state law and take away parents’ rights, obviously there are, you know, it’s the way it works…
It's about a morale issue trying to sort of take officers from the cities, saying it's not a mandate issue.
In Florida, our policy is very clear. We`re going to have a special session, and we`re going to say, nobody should lose their job based off these injections.
