Mr. Speaker, I yield myself the balance of my time. Mr. Speaker, I thank Chairman Royce and my friend from Florida, Congresswoman Frankel, for bringing forward this important bipartisan bill. All countries of the world stand to benefit from the increased participation of women in their economies and in their societies at large. Mr. Speaker, I urge all Members to vote ``aye,'' and I yield back the balance of my time. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from California (Mr. Royce) that the House suspend the rules and pass the bill, H.R. 5480, as amended. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the bill, as amended, was passed. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
