We are the Education Committee in Congress, and we have done nothing to empower teachers or address the dangerous teacher shortage that is looming.
Since food is necessary to live, it should be free for all students who cannot pay.
We are the Education Committee, and we have done nothing to ensure that hungry students in our classrooms and college campuses have access to food so that they can learn and not worry about going hungry.
So, in south Florida, an investment in water infrastructure means an investment in our public health, ecosystem, and economy.
We must make conscious decisions to invest Federal dollars where they are most crucial and beneficial.
Thank you so much for coming to Miami earlier this month, to highlight career technical education and after school programs.
The key to our collective success lies in early investments in our children's education.
