We need the tools like the greenhouse gas measurement metrics that are in the renewable fuels standard being developed today by EPA.

If we are not going to use ethanol as E-85, then we have a serious problem.

We should revisit the tax code to try to put things on parity, so that these fuels all come out on an even playing field.

We have to be very careful on what we call a low-carbon fuel standard, what it really means, and what impact it is going to have on infrastructure and on the ability of Americans to get from point A to point B and for this economy to grow again.
