Madam Speaker, I ask unanimous consent to take from the Speaker's table the concurrent resolution (S. Con. Res. 44) authorizing the use of the rotunda of the Capitol for a ceremony to present the statue of Harry S. Truman from the people of Missouri, and ask for its immediate consideration in the House. The Clerk read the title of the concurrent resolution. The SPEAKER pro tempore. Is there objection to the request of the gentlewoman from California? There was no objection. The text of the concurrent resolution is as follows: S. Con. Res. 44 Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), SECTION 1. USE OF ROTUNDA FOR CEREMONY FOR PRESENTATION OF STATUE OF HARRY S. TRUMAN FROM THE PEOPLE OF MISSOURI. The State of Missouri is authorized to use the rotunda of the Capitol on September 29, 2022, for a ceremony to present the statue of Harry S. Truman from the people of Missouri for placement in the rotunda of the Capitol. Physical preparations for the conduct of the ceremony shall be carried out in accordance with such conditions as the Architect of the Capitol may prescribe.
