I yield myself such time as I may consume. Mr. Speaker, while there are positive signs of economic recovery around the country, the budget deficit is still an important issue. Therefore, it is appropriate that we continue to forego a cost-of- living adjustment at this time as we did for 2010. I hope all of my colleagues will join me in supporting this measure.
