However, when a charter school falls short of that promise, we owe it to the students, the families, and the teachers to hold the school responsible for improvement and close that school, if necessary, if they can't meet those goals.
Great child care and early education investments at federal, state, and local levels are needed because low-income working parents lack access, can't afford services, or don't have enough good choices.
Instead of doubling down on austerity, we should pass a bipartisan law to fix No Child Left Behind.
