This, at the end of the day, I agree with your analysis, and David's as well. I can tell you right now that no senator of either party likes to go against their leader. You pay a price for that.
There was a violent attack on our Capitol on January 6. We know what we saw. We knew it then. All these Republicans and right-wing commentators knew it then. And they decided to step back and not tell the truth. And the truth is coming out.
I think what you saw in Joe is who he really is. I mean, he speaks from the heart. You saw the empathy; you saw the anger.
