Martha McSally

Martha McSally is a Republican politician from Arizona who served as a U.S. Senator from 2019 to 2020. She was the first woman to fly in combat for the U.S. Air Force and has a notable military background. McSally was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014, representing Arizona's 2nd congressional district, where she focused on issues such as national security and veterans' affairs. During her time in the Senate, she continued to advocate for military and defense issues, as well as border security and immigration reform.
I urge our colleagues to provide robust funding for UASI and to consider restoring funding for reduced or expired grant programs.
I do agree with Prime Minister Netanyahu, who said, in this case, the enemy of our enemy is our enemy, and not our friend.
Terrorists have long had an interest in using chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear agents, or CBRN, in their attacks.
We know that, given the opportunity, terrorists will acquire and use military-grade chemical weapons or other chemical agents in their attacks.
I don't believe the F-35 replaces the A-10 and the capabilities it brings to the fight.
We didn't have the political will to do anything about it on the offense at the time, not thinking it was within our interest or it wasn't a threat to our country.
It needs to be a comprehensive whole-of-Government approach, for sure. But I sure would prefer to be on the offense primarily.
