Martha McSally is a Republican politician from Arizona who served as a U.S. Senator from 2019 to 2020. She was the first woman to fly in combat for the U.S. Air Force and has a notable military background. McSally was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014, representing Arizona's 2nd congressional district, where she focused on issues such as national security and veterans' affairs. During her time in the Senate, she continued to advocate for military and defense issues, as well as border security and immigration reform.
The primary role of the interior checkpoints is to make the cartels go around them.
We have facilitated an open door for these Central Americans, and we have no idea what crimes they have committed in their country.

there seems to be a deep disconnect between what some politicians and policymakers in Washington, DC say about our current situation to secure the border and what I hear on a daily basis back here at home.
Our economic opportunities as a border community are just as important as security.
So I would encourage whoever is holding up that bill that they need to get it to the President's desk because this is an important thing for us to be able to do.
If we had an I.D. card with a biometric marker... it would cut out the underground economy.
