I am very concerned about how we pay for the estimated $630 billion that it will cost for Medicaid expansion.
I will continue to advocate for long-term, lasting, permanent reform of Medicaid.
I believe in healthcare reform, and I believe we need healthcare reform, and what I am particularly concerned about is reform of Medicare that my mother relies on and Medicaid.
I have learned in the last two-and-a-half years that when you start to get a lot of the same sort of stories from your constituents, that there is something there.
Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Thank you all for being here. And I was not here the last congress, so I do not have the benefit of a lot of what went on then.
The speaker and the leadership will be here, and I'm a quick flight away. I go home every weekend to see my family.
I want to add my voice to the others who have said that they want to encourage giving, they believe in the nonprofits and the work that they do.
