Following up on the Chairman's questioning, by 2025 DOD says it is going to generate 25 percent of its electricity from renewable sources.

However, if we find that minor improvements come at the expense of the core mission of the Department of Defense, we should reexamine our priorities.

It seems it would make sense that the forests we manage as a country would be eligible to be used by another agency of our Government.
