The best way we can create opportunities for all American workers, especially working women, is through strong economic policy.

Pay discrimination based on sex is illegal and should not be tolerated. I also strongly agree with previous statements made today that women deserve equal pay for equal work.

The Paycheck Fairness Act is not designed to protect women. It is a false promise that rates opportunities and advantages for lawyers and not for working women.
