I think getting that word out, whatever we can do to get the word out to employers, private employers, so that they are hiring more veterans, would be terrific.

Today, there are approximately 2.4 million veteran-owned small businesses across the United States and they represent about eight percent of all small business.

I really appreciate this opportunity to discuss a topic that is incredibly important not only for our veterans, but also for our economy and for our nation as a whole.
