This body is committed to protecting the freedom of religion, including the preservation of heritage of cemeteries across the United States and abroad.

My amendment only adds finding language to the H.R. 4028 to highlight the necessity for Congress to add cemetery desecration as a violation of religious expression.

As an Air Force Reserve chaplain, I believe expressing your personal religious beliefs shouldn't be just a privilege, but it should be a right given to everyone.

We cannot allow ourselves to take the easy way out in terms of pain management or therapy for our veterans.

What we are trying to do is find out how we deal with it, and once it happens, to prevent it from happening again.

If there is a growing culture that believes it does not matter or it is not as important... we need to nip that in the bud.

Which tells me that opiate overprescription is probably as big a problem in DOD as it is in veterans' health care.
