It does have the obvious benefit of relieving some of the stress.

The Campus SaVE Act represents a significant step forward in providing clear standards and guidance to institutions of higher education on what they should be doing to prevent sexual assault and how they should respond to sexual assault.

Implementing the Campus SaVE Act is one of my top priorities, and I believe that the law will lead to significant improvement in how colleges and universities prevent and respond to cases of sexual violence, dating violence and stalking.

This problem has persisted now for generations, and we're finally getting to the point where we're reacting appropriately to it.

Too many survivors of sexual assault have suffered in silence, or been silenced when they have attempted to speak out, and it is fitting that we are giving them a voice and shedding light on this issue.
