Will you commit today to not accept any donations from lobbyists or corporations that have business before the EPA?

We have a duty to uphold the public trust and protect the taxpayer dollar.

There's no way we can meet the health and environmental protection needs of the bay with that kind of budget.

In fiscal year 2018, the FBI created a Foreign Influence Task Force to investigate efforts by foreign actors to influence threats to the electoral process.

The threat of foreign interference in our democratic process through the weaponization of the information space requires a whole-of-society response.

He emphasized the importance of protecting our election from foreign interference.

What makes the Trump administration's proposal so disappointing is that it comes after the President and the Republicans in Congress enacted $1.5 trillion in tax cuts for wealthy individuals and corporations.

I would urge the administration to reconsider these cuts because I think they are counterproductive to some of the stated goals that you have here today.

But then you come with what is what I would say is a scandalously irresponsible budget proposal in terms of this cut of $143 billion in terms of the salaries, pensions, other kinds of benefits.
