I have introduced H.R. 4649, the Energy Storage Tax Incentive and Deployment Act. This legislation would establish an investment tax credit for energy storage infrastructure for utilities, businesses, and homes.

Energy storage presents an incredible opportunity to increase efficiency, grow and reliably use renewables, and provide resiliency to the grid.

I think a general investment tax credit will obviously lower the cost to the asset which could increase deployment.

if we are going to bring more broadband to rural America, our government needs to make a sustained investment in building out more infrastructure.

That's why I am proud to support Ranking Member Pallone's Lift America Act which would dedicate $40 billion to building out broadband infrastructure in unserved and underserved parts of the country.

I think it's important for members on this subcommittee to realize that these are decisions that the Commission is making right now that could affect the future of broadband in rural communities.
