Americans want clean air. They don't want this committee to use high gasoline prices as an excuse for blocking regulations.

If you really cared about helping the country become more resilient to gasoline price volatility, you would be working with the administration instead of trying to block President Obama's every initiative.

We would no longer rely on the science to identify bad air days, and instead we would have to decide what level of smog is protective of public health based on what is cost effective and feasible to address.

The draft bill would do nothing to address high gas prices, but it would delay significant cost effective health protections required under the Clean Air Act.
