Lifeline needs to be expanded in a reasonable way so we capture more of the qualified households.

I believe we need more time to really figure out the real impact of this.

My goal is to ensure that every American that qualifies get access to one of three things.

I strongly believe that Lifeline should be reformed and modernized in a responsible manner.

Up until recently, Lifeline has enjoyed bipartisan support.

As a doctor, I recognize the important work that USAID does in global health including seeking to prevent child and maternal death through the transmission of AIDS.

As a nation of abundance, one of our best approaches to diplomacy is sharing that abundance with the rest of the world.

I am sad that the ranking member wanted to make it about politics or guns or internet statements.

The scientific community broadly supports the next Mars mission as well, as demonstrated by its top ranking in the National Research Council's Decadal Survey.

Today's hearing will examine ways to improve the integrity of our drug supply chain. The entry of falsified and substandard drugs into our drug supply chain poses a grave public health threat.

Last month, I joined with my colleagues Representatives Eshoo and DeGette to call for a hearing on Lifeline.

I agree that we need to allow enough time for the technology to evolve and for the system to be put in place.
