the President announced, and you testified, that this new strategy is designed to defeat al Qaeda in Pakistan and Iraq.

I do think that over time we want to make clear to Iran the full range of behaviors that we find problematic, that we would like to see change.

The Taliban were in power when al Qaeda was allowed and invited in to establish the sanctuaries in Afghanistan from which the September 11 attacks were launched.

We need to find out as a Nation what to do with these folks because I think they're very dangerous just to let them go.

The likelihood of fighting going up in Afghanistan this summer and spring is great, is that correct?

I think you're generally on target and want to give you all the support I can to continue to win this fight.

I believe we must make changes in the personnel accounting system that will dramatically increase the number of annual identifications by a factor of three to five.
