What are we talking about? Construction jobs that last for 6 months but then put the 600 people out of work in my district? That doesn't work.

I have never heard President Biden say that, and I can't imagine that anybody would urge folks, desperate folks, to send their children at great, great personal risk to the United States unaccompanied.

Look, I get a kick out of, as a civil engineer--the only licensed civil engineer in Congress--I get a kick out of the fact that our committee and others keep referring to the ASCE report.
