I think we both agree we want to keep America the capital of capital formation for the whole world. We don't want this to migrate to London or Shanghai or elsewhere around the world. We also know 18 months after we came to the precipice of a financial meltdown ought to be enough time to put rules of the road into place so we can give the market what it craves most, which is predictability. I have never seen a bill that has had more bipartisan input than this piece of legislation. There are places that can still be improved. I would love to work with Senator Corker on some technical amendments to make this better. But this was a bipartisan piece of legislation.
