I want to make sure that I am on the record again that I support the conversion to electronic vehicles.
I think my colleagues were measuring their votes by who’s got experience, who is seasoned, who can be trusted, who’s capable and who’s got a record of productivity and I think that prevailed.
But instead of taking steps forward to prevent and prepare our Nation for future pandemics, this Select Subcommittee has spent 2 years fanning the flames of people's mistrust in public health and taking advantage of their fears.
The Census must be an independent, nonpolitical exercise conducted by statisticians and qualified professionals, not an arm of the political office of whichever administration happens to be in charge.
