“I appreciate my friend, Judge Carter, and I appreciate your insights in this discussion. I would like to finish tonight by reading a couple of things of historical nature because I know our President has said we're not a Christian Nation. I understand that; I'm not going to debate that. But I know our history, I know where we came from, and I know that people in the United States are really victims of who it was that taught them and, therefore, only know so much as what they're taught.
