Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 9:30 a.m., on Thursday, July 29; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate resume consideration of H.R. 5297, the small business jobs bill, with 1 hour for debate prior to the cloture vote, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees and with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the final 10 minutes reserved for the two leaders or their designees, with the majority leader controlling the final 5 minutes. Finally, I ask consent that the filing deadline for second- degree amendments be 10 o'clock a.m. tomorrow. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered. ____________________
