Mr. Speaker, I rise to correct the Record regarding my vote during yesterday's consideration of the Democratic motion to recommit on H.R. 3293, rollcall 69. While my vote was recorded as ``no,'' it was my intention to vote ``aye,'' as I strongly support scientific research into causes and the prevention of gun violence. ____________________
