Mr. Speaker, I rise today in support of the reauthorization of the Ex-Im Bank. The Ex-Im Bank is a critical resource for Rhode Island manufacturers looking to expand into new markets. Over the last 8 years, the Ex-Im Bank has provided more than $20 million to Rhode Island companies for insured shipments, guaranteed credit, and disbursed loans. I am pleased that, after 4 months of inaction, the House is finally voting to reauthorize this critical institution. I thank my colleagues for their support.
