Mr. Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume. Mr. Speaker, I rise in support of this bill which would rename a post office in Lexington, Nebraska, for Bill and Elsie Barrett. Bill Barrett served as the congressional Representative for the western two-thirds of Nebraska for five terms. Bill and Elsie met while Bill was serving in the Navy, and the couple married in 1952. Bill and Elsie passed away in 2016 and 2024, respectively, and are survived by siblings, children, and grandchildren. Mr. Speaker, I encourage my colleagues to support this bill, and I reserve the balance of my time.
