Good afternoon. I would like to thank the witnesses for participating in today's hearing on how we can secure our democracy against threats to election systems, as well as efforts to undermine voter confidence and faith in democratic institutions.

I hope that my colleagues on the other side of the aisle are paying attention and will recognize that their fixation solely on threats coming over the Southwestern Border is dangerous.
Because the discussion that was held here today was disgraceful. Despicable.
