Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2; that following the prayer and the pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks, there be a period of morning business until 11 a.m. with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees, with the Republicans controlling the first 30 minutes and the majority controlling the next 30 minutes, and the remaining time until 11 a.m. equally controlled and divided between the two leaders or their designees, with the majority controlling the final half; further, following morning business, the Senate proceed to the consideration of H.J. Res. 44, the 2-week continuing resolution, as provided for under the previous order; and, finally, upon disposition of the CR, the Senate resume consideration of S. 23, the America Invents Act.
