Mr. President, I will be very brief. We are here on the Senate floor, and we will be staying on the Senate floor for a little while to make one point. I would say this to the American people: We have an economy that needs improvement, and our colleagues have said they will not let anything happen, whether it be tax credits for employers who hire the unemployed, which I am talking about, help for the energy industry, tax credits to help manufacturers hire people, or unemployment insurance. All of those will be put on hold until we give tax breaks to the millionaires and billionaires who--God bless them--are wonderful. They are part of the American dream. But they are the one group that has done well. It seems to me, as we will talk about for the next little while, it is absolutely absurd to say that should be the linchpin of our economic policy. We will ask unanimous consent to bring forth proposals that we think will do far more to get people back to work and help the middle class stretch the paycheck than giving tax breaks to the billionaires. I yield the floor because I know my colleague wishes to speak. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator from Michigan.

Once the House passes the bill to release the Epstein files, I will move for the Senate to immediately take it up and pass it – period.

This is an outright THREAT. Every Senator, every Representative, every American – regardless of party – should condemn this immediately and without qualification.

Trump is attempting to use the Pentagon as his personal attack dog. Just days after calling for violence against members of Congress. This is what dictators do. I stand with Sen. Kelly, as should any American who doesn’t want to be ruled…

This bill is a command for the president to be fully transparent, to come fully clean, and to provide full honesty to the American people.
