Mr. President, as in executive session, I ask unanimous consent that at 3:30 p.m., Monday, September 13, the Senate proceed to executive session to consider Calendar No. 552, the nomination of Jane Stranch to be a United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit; that there be 2 hours of debate with respect to the nomination, with the time equally divided and controlled between Senators Leahy and Sessions or their designees; that at 5:30 p.m. on that date, the Senate proceed to vote on confirmation of the nomination; that upon confirmation, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table; that any statements related to the nomination be printed in the Record; that the President of the United States be immediately notified of the Senate's action, and the Senate then resume legislative session.
