Mr. President, I would like to announce that the Committee on Indian Affairs will meet on Thursday, January 28, at 2:15 p.m. in Room 628 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building to conduct a hearing on the nomination of Lillian A. Sparks to be Commissioner of the Administration for Native Americans, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to be followed immediately by an oversight hearing entitled on ``Unemployment on Indian Reservations at 50 percent: the urgent need to create jobs in Indian Country.''
