Coming from California, we have seen something of a preview of this set of policies, after all, the current Acting Secretary, Ms. Su, was the Department of Labor head in California, and under her leadership in the Newsom administration, California for most of her tenure had the highest unemployment rate in the entire country.

I am filing a bill today called the Workers Choice Act, and to address this issue because I mean I think that an individual... does not have that authority to do that, but this bill will give that worker back the authority.

I believe that employees should have the choice to remain in the union, or negotiate with their employer without a union representation, which is why I introduced the Workers Choice Act.
