the function of tabulating and certifying election results is something that is done by the States, and that I believe that this is not something that we should be including in the American Confidence in Election Act.
It is a first principle for our country that every eligible voter, every American citizen who wants to vote must have an opportunity to cast a ballot within the time and in the manner specified by law and, just as importantly, for that ballot to count according to law.
When will the department provide the Committee with a number of illegal aliens on the terrorist watch list who have been encountered at the Southwest border and subsequently released into the United States, as well as the current status and disposition of each of these cases?
I'm urging Congress to do so--speaking personally for myself as board member, to do so in this reauthorization.
