Frankly, in my experience, in terms of most crime that is committed in our country, they are generally used to get the cooperation of a defendant in order to prosecute other defendants.

Just because more people are giving to Democratic candidates doesn`t mean there aren`t mega-donors in the back room writing five, 10, $20 million checks to try to get the candidates of their choice that are on the other side.
